Dune Stewart is a photographer and author specializing in self-portraiture and narrative photography, with a focus on themes of mental health and social reform. He earned his BFA in Digital Photography from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

His work has been featured in the Texas Photographic Society’s 2026 online exhibition New Visions, where his photograph Where the Lightning Stayed was selected, as well as in Trois Points Magazine (Paris, France) for his image Blowing O’s. In 2020, he participated in Fotofika’s Kickstarter recreation of Mike Mandell’s Baseball Trading Cards, where his work was included in the project’s prototype deck. The project is now archived in the collections of MoMA, the Society for Photographic Education (SPE), and the International Center of Photography (ICP).

Stewart is the author of five books, including the photobook series A Foreign Exchange: London Vol. I & II and Premonition, as well as the poetry collections A Journey of Perspective and Cactus Sweater.
